 The Makita DHR242 is a high performance cordless combination hammer which accepts SDS+ drill bits. With 40 different angles and a longer bit guide this is a formidable machine which will withstand use on the most demanding of job sites. Almost identical to the DHR243, but slightly shorter and without the Quick Change Chuck (available separately).

Unique rubber joint construction suppresses the transmission of vibration to battery terminals, minimizing battery failures such as terminal breakage or poor electrical contact
